Infrastructure development is crucial for Africa's demographic dividend, particularly in transportation and communication. Improving transportation networks enhances connectivity, facilitates trade, and reduces costs for businesses.

Africa should focus on quality education in order to equip the young people with skills for modern jobs or skills to create their own business. Governments should put effort in creating good institutional, political, economic and social environment to empower our youth. I think all depends on political will.

I think African will achieve the demographic dividend way after 2030, when the proportion of working-age individuals to dependents surpasses 2:1 or, when the dependency ratio falls below 0.5. I believe Africa may start to reap the benefits of the demographic dividend by taking advantage of a favorable age distribution. The demographic dividend offers nations a rare chance to boost economic growth. To ensure that the expanding workforce can effectively contribute to the economy, however, this potential must be realized through deliberate investments in economic policies, health care, and education. As their populations age and dependency ratios rise, nations that miss this chance could face serious socioeconomic problems.

Yes, Africa can gain a demographic dividend from its youthful population by strategically investing in key areas such as education and skills development to ensure quality training, improving healthcare access for a healthier workforce, creating job opportunities in sectors like technology and agriculture, supporting entrepreneurship through resources and finance, and enhancing infrastructure for better connectivity. These investments are crucial for leveraging the potential of the youth to drive sustainable economic growth.
