Oumaima Tounchibine is a specialist in Islamic Finance, Agricultural Economics, and Humanitarian Policy, currently working with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) at the Subregional Office for North Africa. With academic training from International Islamic University Malaysia and Université Ibn Tofaïl (Morocco), she brings a unique blend of financial expertise and development insight to her work in supply chain management, refugee support, and economic policy. Her Ph.D. research focuses on the role of Islamic financial instruments in humanitarian aid, particularly for refugee populations. She is also experienced in agricultural innovation, public policy analysis, and economic development strategies in the MENA region.
