Marcellin Stéphane Bella Ngadena, a young Cameroonian, received an ECA fellowship recently. He obtained a PhD in Economics from the University of Yaoundé II and was granted an Erasmus Mundus scholarship by the European Union. His research focuses on the formation of human capital, institutions, education, health, gender, applied macro econometrics, and welfare. He took part in African conferences and published journal articles and a chapter book.
