Opeyemi Akinyemi is a researcher with a Ph. D in Economics with specialisation in energy and environmental policy. Her research interests revolves around analysis of green growth strategies that can support sustainable development in emerging and developing economies. Some of the methods and techniques used are system GMM, panel data and dynamic CGE modelling. Current projects includes energy sustainability and the green growth agenda in Sub-Sahara Africa. Also, Firm innovation, sustainable energy and the adoption of environmental measures in SMEs in Africa
