Torque Mude is a Senior Lecturer of Political Economy at the University of Namibia. In 2022, he was a Research Fellow at UNECA’s Regional Integration and Trade Division in Kigali, focusing on the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), intra-African trade, regional integration, peacebuilding, and development. Previously, he lectured international relations at Midlands State University, Zimbabwe. Torque holds a PhD in International Politics from the University of South Africa, and an MA and BA Honours from Midlands State University. His research interests include African politics, international political economy, development, peace, and security. He has published extensively in journals and with publishers such as Springer, Palgrave Macmillan, and Lexington Books.
