Bio Data:
Kenza is an Economist with a strong interest in African development. She has worked with institutions such as the AfDB, UNECA, and IOM, addressing topics like monetary policy, youth employment, governance, and migration. Over the past four years, she has focused on strengthening migration data systems across Africa at national, regional, and continental levels. Prior to IOM, she contributed to data and macroeconomic analysis in North African countries including Algeria, Libya, Tunisia, and Morocco. Her career began in South Africa, where she worked in academic teaching and development consulting. Kenza holds a Master’s in Economics from the University of Pretoria, specializing in Monetary Economics, and earned a SARB Research Chair scholarship. She also holds an Honours and Bachelor's degree in Economics from the same university.
