Bio Data:

Innocent Bayai is a finance academic and researcher currently serving as a Lecturer at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) in Zimbabwe. He teaches courses in finance and related disciplines. Dr. Bayai holds a PhD in Development Finance from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa, a qualification that underpins his advanced research and teaching portfolio. In addition to his role at NUST, he is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of South Africa (UNISA), where he is affiliated with the Department of Financial Accounting within the College of Accounting Science. His research interests focus on economics, finance, and microfinance, with particular emphasis on sustainable development issues affecting the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region. Dr. Bayai is widely recognized for his contributions to academic and policy discourse in the areas of microfinance, SME development, public finance, and debt-employment dynamics
