Dr. Lesego Selotlegeng is a seasoned economist, researcher, and senior academic based in Gaborone, Botswana. Currently a Senior Consultant at the Institute of Development Management (IDM), she holds appointments as a Senior Lecturer and has previously served as an Economist at the Botswana Technology Centre and as a Research Fellow and Research Assistant at various institutions. She has authored over a dozen peer-reviewed publications—on diverse topics including migration and youth, health outcomes, education, and ICT adoption in Africa. Dr. Selotlegeng’s multidisciplinary expertise intersects public health, economics, migration, and technology. He holds qualifications from the University of Botswana and Shandong University, and she brings his insights to teaching, consultancy, and policy discourse across the region.
