Lauretta Sandra Kemeze is an Agricultural Economist with expertise in rural development, climate-smart agriculture, and bioenergy economics. She holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics and Policy from the University of Ghana, Legon, where her research focused on the impact of Jatropha adoption on crop incomes and farmers’ preferences for production contracts in Northern Ghana. Dr. Kemeze is currently a Fellow at the Agriculture Global Practice AFR2 of the World Bank, where she contributes to agricultural policy development and impact evaluation in Sub-Saharan Africa. She also holds a master’s degree in economics. Her research interests include rural development, bioenergy economics, climate-smart agriculture, technology adoption, choice modelling, impact evaluation, and food security. She has presented her work at several international conferences and continues to contribute to the academic and development discourse on sustainable agriculture and inclusive rural transformation.
