Bio Data:

Reference: Laghlal, M. (2023). The relationship between economic growth and infrastructure driven debts in developing countries. Addis Ababa: United Nations Economic Commission for Africa<br> This paper studied the impact of infrastructure driven debt on economic growth in developing countries. A synthetic index combining infrastructure stocks in several sectors permitted the construction of the relationships between the variables of interest and an evaluation through an autoregressive distributive lag panel model (ARDL) as well as a threshold model to investigate the nonlinearity of these relationships. The result confirms existing literature that suggests a positive impact of infrastructure and a negative impact of debt on economic growth. This result shows that investment in infrastructure can mitigate the negative impact of debt on economic growth.
