Mamadou Mouminy Bah completed his Ph.D. in Economics at the University Félix Houphouët-Boigny (UFHB) in Abidjan under the AERC Collaborative Ph.D. Programme and is currently awaiting his thesis defense. He is a Research Assistant at UFHB and was previously a Research Economist Fellow (Cohort 3) at UNECA-SRO/CA in Yaoundé, Cameroon. His research interests include development economics and applied microeconometrics, with a focus on resource misallocation, agricultural productivity, economic diversification, women’s empowerment, and climate change. His work has been published or is under review in several journals, including the Journal of International Trade & Economic Development, Comparative Economic Studies, Journal of Climate Finance, World Development, and Journal of African Transformation. He has presented at major conferences including the 2024 World Bank Land Conference, CSAE 2024, AFES 2024, and is scheduled to present at the 2025 Econometric Society World Congress (ESWC).
