Charlotte Arinaitwe is a development practitioner committed to improving the well-being of people, especially the poor in rural communities in Africa. She holds a Doctorate in Rural Development and Management from China Agricultural University. Charlotte was a research fellow at the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa, where she contributed to policy dialogues and capacity building of officials from Member State National Statistical Offices and Ministries of Agriculture through the Global Strategy to Improve Agricultural and Rural Statistics training programme. She is also an advocate for sustainable agricultural practices, and she loves farming.
