Anta Ngom is a Lecturer and Researcher in Economics at Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar (UCAD), Senegal. Her research focuses on development economics and public policy analysis, with a strong emphasis on gender equity, firm performance, and macroeconomic modeling. Prior to her current role, she served as a gender economist at the Regional Consortium for Research in Generational Economics (CREG), where she contributed to studies on gender dynamics within economic policy frameworks. She was also an associate researcher with the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) and the Partnership for Economic Policy (PEP). Her past research includes an analysis of the technical efficiency of Senegalese manufacturing firms using the Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) approach and a dynamic Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) model to assess the impact of Senegal's 2019–2023 investment strategy on growth, youth and women’s employment, and household welfare.
