Dr. Ehouman Williams V. Ahouakan is an economist specializing in public policy, public finance, and development planning. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Economics and has over seven years of experience working with regional and international institutions, including the BCEAO, UNECA, and CAPEC, as well as serving as a lecturer at Jean Lorougnon Guédé University in Daloa, Côte d'Ivoire. He has contributed to major foresight initiatives—such as ECOWAS 2050, WAEMU 2040, Sahel 2043, and Madagascar 2063—and to analytical work on fiscal sustainability, structural transformation, economic reforms, and the financing of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). His peer-reviewed publications address issues related to education, child labor, labor productivity, and governance. Dr. Ahouakan also has strong experience in interagency coordination, strategic policy advisory, and applied econometric analysis.
