Bio Data:
I am a Namibian computer scientist and researcher with a passion for using technology to drive inclusive development across Africa. I hold a master’s degree in computer science from the University of Cape Town, where my research focused on ICT4D and the design of scalable, community-centered digital solutions. I am also a PhD candidate at the University of Cape Town examining community perspectives on data collection and co-designing applications for local language models. During the UNECA fellowship I will be investigating how technological innovation can support sustainable economic diversification on the continent. My academic and professional journey has been guided by a commitment to empowering communities, improving digital inclusion, and building resilient local economies through technology and innovation.
