Torcia-Chanelle is a junior economist, currently fellow at ECA, Macraeconomic Finance and Governance division (MFGD), Development planning section (DPS). She holds a Ph.D in Development economics. She was lecturer at the Institut Universitaire d'Abidjan(IUA). she is a former student of the University of Felix Houphouet Boigny in Cote d'Ivoire, University of Yaounde 2 and The University of N'Gaoundere in Cameroon. She was recipient of the scholarship form Programme de Troisieme Cycle Interuniversitaire (PTCI) for her Master's and Ph.D.
