A 2024 United Nations report on water and climate change highlighted that "Climate change is first and foremost a water crisis. We are feeling the effects through increased flooding, rising sea levels, melting ice caps, forest fires and droughts." These facts are part of our daily lives and remind us of the importance of sustainable water management in strengthening the resilience of societies and ecosystems and reducing carbon emissions.

Everyone has a role to play: individual and family actions are vital.
